How this works: we connect you with a local cleaner — you contract directly with them. SutherlandShire Cleaners is a Sutherland Shire matching service operated by EOS Tech Labs Pty Ltd (ABN 77 686 353 202). We do not perform cleaning. When you submit an enquiry, we pass it to a local independent cleaner. The cleaner contacts you, quotes you, and contracts directly with you. We may receive a referral fee from the cleaner; you pay no fee to us.
1. Who we are
This site is operated by EOS Tech Labs Pty Ltd (ABN 77 686 353 202), trading as SutherlandShire Cleaners. Our business is to introduce Sutherland Shire residents and businesses to local independent cleaners. We are not a cleaning company. We do not own a fleet, vans or cleaning equipment. We do not employ cleaners.
2. What we do
- Take enquiries through this website and an existing voice channel.
- Connect each enquiry with a local independent cleaner whose service area, equipment and availability fit the job.
- Pass your contact details and a short job description to that cleaner so they can reach out.
- Follow up on the experience to hold our service to a standard.
3. What we do not do
- We do not perform the cleaning. The cleaner does.
- We do not employ the cleaners we connect you with. Each is an independent business.
- We do not set the price. The cleaner quotes you directly.
- We do not take payment from you for the cleaning. You pay the cleaner.
- We are not a party to the cleaning contract. The contract is between you and the cleaner.
4. How we are paid
- Customers pay nothing to SutherlandShire Cleaners. The price you agree with the cleaner is the price you pay them.
- We may receive a referral fee from the cleaner. This is a commercial arrangement between us and the cleaner.
- This referral arrangement does not change the price the cleaner quotes you. The cleaner sets pricing based on the job and their own costs.
- We disclose this fee arrangement here and in our Terms of Service in line with Australian Consumer Law disclosure expectations.
5. What we share with the cleaner
We share the minimum needed for the cleaner to contact you and quote the job:
- Your name (if provided)
- Your phone number
- Your email address (if provided)
- Your suburb or service address
- A short description of the job you have requested
The cleaner uses your details to contact you, quote, set timing and perform the work. Their use of your information is governed by their own privacy practices. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
6. Your contract is with the cleaner
Once we connect you with a local cleaner, you and the cleaner agree the price, scope, timing, payment terms, and any warranty for the cleaning work. They invoice you under their own ABN. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply between you and the cleaner for the cleaning work itself.
7. What we are responsible for
- The accuracy of statements about our matching service on this website.
- Handing your enquiry to a local cleaner whose service area, equipment and availability fit the job.
- Following up on issues raised about the matching service itself — response times, accuracy of details we passed on, and how we handled the introduction.
8. What we are not responsible for
The quality, safety, timing, pricing and outcome of the cleaning work itself. Those sit with the cleaner. If something goes wrong with the work, raise it with them first. If you cannot reach them, contact us and we will help facilitate.
9. Reviews and testimonials
Reviews shown on this site relate to the matching experience — response time, communication, accuracy of the introduction — unless we explicitly attribute a review to the cleaner who performed the cleaning. We do not invent reviews and we do not aggregate non-genuine reviews. Reviews of cleaning work are attributed to the cleaner who performed it.
10. Australian Consumer Law
This disclosure is provided in line with Australian Consumer Law (Sch 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)), in particular the prohibitions on misleading or deceptive conduct (s 18) and false representations (s 29). Nothing in this disclosure excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot legally be excluded.
