Step 1: Remove Tripe Pieces
Collect tripe pieces with a spoon. Cooked tripe has a firm, slightly rubbery texture and lifts cleanly from carpet with a spoon without much smearing. Step 2: Re-Liquefy the Gelatin Broth if Cooled

Blot and allow to dry.
Step 6: Overnight Baking Soda for Tripe Offal Odour (Two Applications)
Apply baking soda over the fully dried area and allow overnight. Tripe has a distinctive offal odour from the volatile fatty acids and amine compounds released during the long simmering — even well-cleaned tripe retains a noticeable offal character in the broth. This offal odour is more persistent than most meat-based soup odours and benefits from two overnight baking soda applications. Apply the first overnight round, vacuum in the morning, and apply a second round the following evening.
